What is Analytics?
A way to see how many people visit your website, where they come from and what they read, without cookies and without identifying anyone.
Do I need a cookie banner?
Not for Analytics. It stores nothing in your visitors’ browsers, no cookie and nothing else, so there is nothing to ask consent for. You should still mention in your privacy notice that you measure visits; a link to our privacy page is usually enough.
Can I see who a visitor is?
No, and neither can we. No IP address is kept, and visits are counted with a code that is replaced every day, so once the day has passed a visit cannot be traced to anyone.
Will it slow my site down?
No. It is one small script that loads after the rest of the page, and it sends its note without waiting for an answer.
Does it work with my website builder?
If you can add a line of code to every page, usually a “footer code” or “custom code” box, yes. It also works on sites built with React, Vue or SvelteKit, following page changes on its own.
Why might my numbers be lower than another tool’s?
Some browsers and blockers stop analytics scripts of every kind. And because nothing is stored on a device, a visitor who comes back tomorrow counts as a new visitor that day.
Can I count button clicks or sign-ups?
Yes. One line where the action happens and it is counted under Custom events. Name the action, never the person.
Can I track more than one site?
Yes, as many as you like, side by side or one at a time.
How long is the data kept?
Visit statistics are anonymous, so they are kept. Remove a site and collection stops within a few minutes.
Can someone else see my figures?
Not yet from the app. If you need to share a site’s figures with a colleague, get in touch.
What does it cost?
